It’s a sad moment when you run out of your beloved beauty product, isn’t it? I feel like it’s been happening to me over and over again in the recent weeks. It always the case when I don’t exactly have a budget for re-stocking, but some of the products mentioned in the post below are simply a must have and I would pick them over food. OK, maybe that’s an overstatement, but you get what I mean…
Without further ado, here are some of my recent empties…
Pantene Ice Shine Shampoo
Is this shampoo line even available anymore? I feel I had it forever, so I’m glad I was finally able to finish the bottle. It’s actually a very good product that doesn’t weigh the hair down, lathers well and leave your strands feeling clean and fresh. I recommend to pair it with a good conditioner, otherwise it may leave your hair a bit tangled.
Repurchase? I don’t think so. It’s not bad, but I much prefer the Dove shampoo within the same price range.
Natura Siberica Maximum Volume Oblepikha Conditioner
I am a fan of a number of skincare products from Natura Siberica, but their hair care is not that amazing. Interestingly enough, I thought this conditioner was fine (basic, but did the job) until I actually ran out of it and reached for another product. The difference in the way my hair felt after the switch was extremely noticeable and made me realize that the Maximum Volume Conditioner did pretty much nothing to my strands.
Sol De Janeiro Brazilian 4 Play Moisturizing Shower Cream-Gel
I have a dedicated post about the Sol De Janeiro products if you want to read more, but in short – I feel like this shower gel is not worth the price. It’s nice and smells delicious, but you can find a product with those features for a fraction of the cost. If you give it a go, you probably won’t be disappointed though…
Sol de Janeiro Brazilian Bum Bum Cream
My thoughts on the Bum Bum Cream are very similar, although I have to say that I do miss it now that it’s finished. The scent of this product is truly addictive and it’s a very good body moisturiser. It is also infused with tiny specs of glitter that are not really noticeable in the jar, but make your skin look beautiful. However, I still think that the cost of the product is too high.
Repurchase? Only if I can find it on special.
Rexona Maximum Protection Antiperspirant
I’ve also gone through another container of my favorite deodorant. I talked about it before and I’m sure you’ll see it again in the future because I’ve been buying this stuff for months. It’s a deodorant I can trust in every situation and every temperature – and trust me, I’ve put it to a good test in Sydney and Texas!

Skinstitut Rejuvenate 15 Serum
I can’t believe I’ve gone through two tubes of this serum already! For some reason I seem to use it up faster than other serums I’ve tried in the past. However, it’s an only downside of the product – otherwise it’s a lovely lightweight serum suitable for both morning and evening use. It makes the skin look and feel absolutely beautiful, is packed with beneficial ingredients and it’s not overly expensive. I will even go as far as saying that it’s one of my all time favorite serums, and that’s a big statement!
Repurchase? I have to order it from Australia, unfortunately, but I will definitely get it again.
Mario Badescu Facial Spray with Aloe, Herbs and Rosewater
A must have for all the rose scent fans out there. This facial spray smells amazing, works as a fantastic hydration booster and doesn’t cost an arm and a leg. It sprays a fine mist out and can be used as a finishing spray or during the day whenever you need to refresh.
Repurchase? I will, once I’m done with all other facial sprays in my current collection.
Ren Glycolactic Radiance Renewal Mask
I’m pretty sure I’ve mentioned this product multiple times in my posts, but if you are new to the blog, here’s all you need to know. It’s one of my favorite masks of all time and I have to have it in my collection. It’s brightening, exfoliating and leaves the skin looking and feeling beautiful. At the same time, I find it to be gentle enough to be used on dry skin prone to irritation.

Tolpa Dermo Face Lipidro Night Cream
This product was mentioned in my favorites fairly recently and my opinion is pretty much the same after using the entire tube. It’s a lovely, rich night cream with divine scent (a bit strong, but it shouldn’t bother you if you like the smell of jojoba oil). It would leave my skin nourished, soft and looking “alive” in the morning. It does require some time to fully sink in, so I wouldn’t recommend it to oily skin types though. It’s also really difficult to get your hands on unless you live in Poland, but give it a go if you ever stumble across it.
Repurchase? I’ll consider it next time I’m in Poland.
Alpha-H Protection Plus Daily SPF50+ Broad Spectrum Cream
If you’re looking for a good SPF product for your face, this is it! The biggest strength of the Alpha-H Cream is that it doesn’t leave a white cast on the face and works very well under makeup. It doesn’t feel heavy on the skin and or have a strong sunscreen scent either. Those qualities are not easy to find in an SPF50, so it’s worth investing in if the price doesn’t scare you. I’ve actually gone through the both full size and a sample size bottle…
Repurchase? For sure.
